Beetroot Design Group is a multi-awarded design team and think tank that is consisted of diverse design specialists who work mostly as communication designers but actually want to change the world (according to what they think is better).
Beetroot’s creative mission is to discover, develop and utilize the true essence of an idea, service or product and then grow and expand it into a strong brand that becomes recognized, appreciated and praised all around the globe. Beetroot’s signature never-the-same-thing-twice work won its international acclaim by providing excellent and exciting design solutions.
Beetroot was founded in Thessaloniki by Vagelis Liakos, Alexis Nikou and Yiannis Charalambopoulos and currently employs ten more designers who besides their many talents, are arguably the strictest judges in the world when passing judgment to a colleague and even worse when they evaluate their own work!

In 2011, as part of Beetroot’s worldwide recognition with the highest distinction at the red dot communication design awards (Agency of the Year) the team created “The Greek Monsters” exhibition. The exhibition’s aimed at demonstrating the team’s philosophical stands and practices within the creative field by utilizing the monsters of the ancient Greek mythology as contemporary symbols for creativity and growth and against discrimination and exclusion. The exhibition is still on tour after being successfully presented in many international and Greek cities including Berlin, Essen, Athens, Thessaloniki etc.
